Day 4: Arenal

(B, D) Get ready to sail through the air for this morning tour. Once at the top, the real adventure begins. You’ll glide your way to the bottom on 2 miles / 3km of zip line cables.

In the afternoon, you’ll hike along the base of the Arenal Volcano to the 1968 lava flows. You’ll have yet another perspective of the volcano, the lake, and the surrounding mountains on this activity. After the hike, you’ll be ready for a relaxing soak in natural volcanic thermal springs and a hearty dinner.

Day 5: Arenal – Manuel Antonio

There’s a trail to the highest point in the park, where you can see the ocean and rainforest from up high, before enjoying some time relaxing on the beach.

In the afternoon, you’ll be able to choose to go back to the national park, unwind at the hotel, or explore the surroundings on your own. (Note that the national park is closed on Mondays. This activity will be rescheduled to another day, if necessary.)
